LOS ANGELES—On last Saturday, July 20 a group of collaborative partners came together in the parking lot of Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist showcase a new idea in starting a small business.
It was the first Food Truck Business Expo. This event was attended by hundred from the neighborhood and from those outside who had heard about the special opportunity to start a business with a truck and the drive to work for yourself.
The collaborative partnership between the Vermont Slauson Economic Development Corporation (VSEDC), Union Bank, The 9th Council District, The City of Los Angeles Business Source Center, and Kareem Carts Commissary and Manufacturing came together to assist those whose desire is to start a food truck business.
